A painting for the Shining Force art contest at #LegacyofShiningForce.
This is the goddess Mitula, looking at an image of the world in a reflecting pool.
I was inspired by the 1963 film Jason and the Argonauts - I thought of how the gods looked into a reflecting pool and watched the mortals on the world below them. (Strangely enough, when I decided on this idea, I found that the film was just starting on TV at the same time - weird huh??
)
Haven't done an anime-style painting for a looooooong time, since before my daughter was born (and she's 2 1/2!), so I'm a bit rusty. I think it turned out ok though

Wow,I think it looks great,especially the concept considering that Mitula does have a kind of "Greek" style to her design in the game.
